Van Gundy Resigns

After sporting some admittedly sweet Miami Floridians (ABA) throwback unis in their OT win over the Wizards on Sunday Dec. 11th, the Heat grasp headlines again, announcing that Stan Van Gundy has resigned and Pat Riley has taken over.

Van Gundy cites personal reasons, but others suspect he might have been forced out. I don't know... SVG was cool with me - and if something personal really is up in his life, I wish him the best. But Riley IS one of the three best meatball coaches ever, so hopefully this change is good.

All I know is, I'm glad Shaq's back.
