CNNi interviews Martinez & Dobbs

Just watched Senators Mel Martinez and Dobbs on CNNi. Despite both Senators being from different camps as far as the approach to the Cuban embargo and tourism and various other political issues, they were in complete agreement with how to approach Cuba now and how to assist in sezing this opportunity to create a permanent and positive change on the island.

CNNi's talking head however, was combatative and dismissive, calling the embargo silly and stating that he has no reason to not believe the "statement" from castro and that he doesn't buy that castro won't come back.

What an idiot. Clearly the geographical seperation between Cuba and the U.K. has been effective in distancing him from the truth. No wonder so many castro supporters on wikipedia are from the U.K. - they're fed news by individuals who are apparently completely oblivious to the world around them.
